Payroll & Benefits Associate (1010975)

Our client is a financial services firm. They are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Associate to join their New York, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Complete end-to-end processing of semi-monthly, multi-state US payrolls
  • Draft payroll and compensation reports as scheduled for various departments
  • Oversee the general ledger reporting process and deliver files to Accounting
  • Manage the Payroll and Benefits email and serve as the first point of contact
  • Collaborate with HR for onboarding, offboarding, and updating personnel data
  • Run the benefits enrollment process and work with carriers to resolve issues
  • Distribute COBRA, departure memos, and other time-sensitive announcements
  • Process new hire I-9 documentation and maintain electronic I-9 file compliance
  • Audit completed payroll and participate in quarterly cross-processing
  • Finalize weekly benefits carrier connection uploads and investigating any errors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of HR experience in Payroll and Benefits
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to meet deadline and scheduled tasks
  • Strong technical skills, specifically in MS Office
