Payroll Coordinator (1010865)

Our client is a service company. They are looking for a temp Payroll Coordinator to join their Melville, NY office. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and process tax records and documents
  • Verify payroll accuracy and all paperwork is in order
  • Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll
  • Monitor electronic payments and distribute checks
  • Update data with salary or wage adjustments
  • Manage other financial compensations or deductions
  • Draft reports to upper management upon request
  • Liaise with authorities (e.g. IRS) on taxes or audits

Requirements

  • 2+ years of payroll experience
  • Familiar with payroll processes
  • Analytical and keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Skilled in payroll systems
