Our client is a public accounting firm. They are searching for a Senior Tax Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office. 

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute client tax engagement processes
• Handle multiple estate, gift, and fiduciary client tax engagements 
• Oversee complex estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns
• Discuss estates, gift, fiduciary, and income tax-related issues
• Finalize trust documents and other estate planning documents
• File all client-related tax returns and documents in a timely manner
• Assess and respond to federal/state tax notices that impact clients
• Provide tax planning and consultations for high net worth clients
• Seek additional tax opportunities that are beneficial for clients
• Work directly with clients as needed throughout the year 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, MST preferred
• 8-12 years of relevant tax experience
• Public and/or Professional Services background
• Strong technical tax background
• Experience with income, estate, and gift tax
• CPA or EA required
• Skilled in Axcess, CCH, and ProSystems
