Junior Accountant (60342)
Our client is an asset management firm. They are searching for a Junior Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
Provide general accounting support for funds
Assist with month-end fund close processes
Handle expense processing and accruals
Process cash and collateral movements
Contribute to year-end audit requests and reviews
Review annual K1s and related tax filings
Ensure all statements are downloaded and organized
Verify the accuracy of financing charges
Complete ongoing reconciliation of key data
Support the daily processing of portfolio trades
Requirements
Previous accounting experience
Private or combo accounting background
Experience with derivatives, FX forwards, etc.
Analytical and organized
Skilled in Advent Geneva preferred
