Our client is a public accounting firm. They are searching for an Audit Senior to join the Alternative Investment team in their Roseland, NJ office. 

Responsibilities

• Monitor issues that affect the accuracy of the accounting records
• Uphold knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
• Manage audit staff and solve complex engagement problems
• Produce appropriate and complete engagement audit programs
• Prepare client financial reports including complex footnote disclosures
• Oversee engagements and prepare substantive review comments
• Plan reasonable time budgets and effectively monitor performance
• Build positive working relationships with key management of client
• Respond to client questions and requests in a timely manner
• Identify opportunities to extend scope and services

Requirements

• 3+ years of Audit Senior experience
• Knowledge of Alternative Investments
• Public accounting industry experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP and tax laws
• Strong communication and managerial skills
• CPA strongly preferred
