Our client is a bank. They are searching for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their Pasadena, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Produce banking regulatory reports, including quarterly Call and FRY Report schedules
• Oversee monthly general ledger account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
• Contribute to the month-end close process and complete analysis for financial statements
• Research new accounting regulations and pronouncements to assess reporting impact
• Liaise with reporting and operations departments to meet new reporting requirements
• Draft financial statements used in the preparation of quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings
• Develop schedules for internal reporting requirements including the monthly Board package
• Manage and adjust various schedules and reports for internal users and external auditors

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Corporate accounting background
• Familiar with month-end close process
• Written and verbal communication skills
• CPA strongly preferred
