Our client is a public accounting firm. They are searching for a Senior Audit Accountant to join their Jericho, NY office. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee client engagements including audits and budgets
• Discuss accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Partners 
• Draft and review financial statements for presentation and accuracy
• Handle smaller compilation and review engagements from start to finish
• Contribute to the maintenance and analysis of the general ledger 
• Verify that books and financials are in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Build relationships with clients and communicate updates effectively 
• Supervise semi-seniors and associates, offering guidance as needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Small/Mid-size public accounting experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized and very analytical
• CPA or parts passed preferred
• Skilled in ProFX
