Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Senior Fund Accountant to join their Culver City, CA office. 

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal resources, offshore resources, fund administrators
• Ensure daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines are met 
• Work with tax, investor relations, financial reporting departments
• Collaborate with operations to manage daily cash and position breaks
• Review daily and monthly NAV packages from the fund administrator
• Prepare GAAP financial statements for monthly reporting and SEC filings
• Draft quarterly footnote and MD&A disclosures and other analyses
• Finalize NQ, NCSRS, and NCSR reporting as well as NPORT reporting
• Complete monthly account reconciliations and fluctuation analyses 
• Assist with firm initiatives and team projects for process improvements

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Public/combo background (Big 4+)
• Experience with Bank Debt preferred
• Motivated and a team player
• CPA preferred
