Benefits Manager (1010217)

Our client is a college. They are looking for a Benefits Managers to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all elements of faculty benefit programs are properly carried out
  • Create and maintain benefit records by developing recordkeeping systems
  • Proactively intake and manage new employees and open enrollment 
  • Provide comprehensive information related to benefits plans and options
  • Respond to employee inquiries and directing employees to resources as needed
  • Act as the point of contact for benefits vendors and reconcile all vendor reports
  • Oversee employee benefits enrollment and insurance premium payment processing
  • Stay up to date with updates to benefit-related laws such as COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA
  • Adjust faculty premium rates resulting from changes in contact hours and insurance premiums

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of benefits processes
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Able to handle confidential materials
  • Highly organized
