Payroll & Benefits Coordinator (56132)

This firm provides specialized services to their clients nationally. They seek a payroll and benefits coordinator for their Midtown Manhattan office.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and prepare all payroll information for a complex weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls
  • Coordinate digital collection and process timesheets for non-exempt employees
  • Review new hire paperwork for completion and accuracy
  • Update payroll records by entering all new hires, rehires, terminations, partial pays, compensation changes, benefits changes, and personnel updates into ADP Workforce Now
  • Process payroll preview report, resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of all payroll information
  • Coordinate and maintaining employee personnel and benefits records
  • Manage monthly consulting invoices and reconciliations
  • Run payroll related, month-end and ad hoc reports
  • Reconcile all benefit invoices on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and manage all employment verifications as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of multistate payroll process experience
  • Experience using an ADP product
  • Knowledge of Payroll tax a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
