As we enter into our 21st year as a staffing agency, we are reminded of how lucky we are to have clients and candidates with whom we have strong and fruitful relationships. The honor to be recognized for providing satisfaction is dwarfed only by the honor to be of service to our clients and candidates.
Providing a good experience for candidates will benefit your firm in the long run. These pre-screened individuals with the desire to work for your company will have the means to work on their interviewing skills; making them more employable given their already evidenced skills and interest in your brand.
“It’s best to be honest without going in to too much detail. If you took time off to travel or tend to a sick family member, that’s fine. If you were let go due to restructuring or a job moving out of town, that’s fine too.”
Do not underestimate the value of doing research before an interview. Interviewers have more likely than not done extensive research on you, it’s important to extend the same courtesy. Don’t be afraid to seek out individuals who may have insight into the company. Photos online may even indicate the appropriate attire for the interview. If you do a good amount of quality research, it will translate in your interview and set you apart from the competition.
