Adam Haworth Celebrates 15 Years at Abacus Group

Adam Haworth, Partner, Accounting and Finance Division, is celebrating 15 years at Abacus Group! He specializes in accounting, audit and tax positions across all industries.

Adam’s lasting success at Abacus Group can be attributed to his education and previous experience. Adam is a CPA who earned his BS in Accounting from Binghamton University followed by his MBA in Finance and Marketing from New York University. After graduating, he worked as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Adam then served as a Financial Analyst and a Director of Finance in the telecommunications industry, before shifting his career to recruiting and joining the Abacus Group.

In the office, Adam is a positive presence, quick to wish everyone “Good morning!” He is logical and practical when approaching problems and his patience, guidance, and attention to detail is appreciated by all. His Accounting and Finance teammates describe him as a mentor, always leading by example, and someone they aspire to be like.

Adam’s Abacus Group co-workers are not the only ones who value his diligence and work ethic. One of his candidates raved, “Adam must be one of the best executive recruiters alive. He truly radiates his passion for his job. He is very attentive to detail and goes out of his way to match you for the right position. His most important quality to me has been his responsiveness. He promptly returns calls, provides updates, and feedback immediately. Lastly, even when I ended up with another job, he actually sent me a thank you letter and asked me to keep him in mind for the future. I would, without hesitation hire Adam for both placing me, and finding candidates for my company and recommend the same to anyone.”

Reflecting on the past fifteen years, Adam remarked, “My fifteen years at Abacus Group have been my most meaningful, both personally and professionally. From the clients and candidates that I have represented to the people I am fortunate to call colleagues; I have built lasting relationships while maintaining the values that are important to me. Our industry provides challenges unlike any other profession. These challenges will test your abilities every day. Thanks to the collaborative culture we have built and the reputation we have established, I am sure the next fifteen years will be full of new and exciting challenges and even greater successes than the first fifteen years.”
